CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
Role Starting Pay: $60,000/year including a 90 day evaluation.
Role Location: Hybrid/Chicago, IL
Direct Reports: CEO
Role Purpose: Lead and manage construction projects by overseeing all construction crew members and subcontractors, facilitating effective communication with clients and suppliers to ensure seamless project planning and execution.
Role Description: The Construction Project Manager will oversee the construction production process and manage project leads. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in construction management, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving project timelines, taking precise measurements, construction team management, client interaction, and drafting accurate quotes.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Oversight: Manage and oversee all aspects of the construction production process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Coordination: Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house team to ensure seamless project execution.

Measurement & Quoting: Take accurate measurements and draft detailed quotes based on project requirements and existing plans.

Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all work meets company standards and client specifications.

Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, manage costs, and ensure financial efficiency.

Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in home remodeling.

Skills: Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in taking measurements, drafting quotes, and understanding construction blueprints and plans.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Driving: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.

Software Proficiency: Familiarity with construction management software and tools, excel, autocad.

Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
